In this session, Katie will share stories of mistakes she has made with ‘regrettable retention’ so that you don’t have to learn the hard way. She will also share heuristics and principles to help you identify when your retention efforts are healthy management practices and when you’re entering the danger zone of manager’s remorse. Lastly, she will explore what drives otherwise good managers to make bad decisions when it comes to retention and how you can avoid these traps.
