Franziska has a Ph.D. in mathematics and is a principal engineering manager at Microsoft where she leads multiple teams in Cloud Advocacy. She’s a Node.js core contributor, an elected member of the Node.js Technical Steering Committee, and an expert on JavaScript performance. Prior to Microsoft, she worked at Google on the JavaScript Engine in Chrome and in Google Cloud where she was responsible for Node.js. When she's not coaching and empowering her team, you can find her playing with her dog in Central Park.
