Uma Mukkara is currently the head of Chaos Engineering at Harness. Earlier, Uma co-founded ChaosNative and MayaData companies where he co-created open source projects LitmusChaos and OpenEBS. He is an active maintainer of the popular CNCF chaos engineering project LitmusChaos. Uma is a regular speaker on the subject of Chaos Engineering and cloud native DevOps at various conferences in the recent past. He is passionate about building solutions around resilience through chaos testing.

He is a regular speaker in events, meetups and conferences related to SREs, reliability and Chaos Engineering.

Uma holds a Masters degree in Telecommunications and software engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago
